EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)
EMDR is a structured, research-backed therapy designed to help individuals process and release distressing memories, emotions, and beliefs. Unlike traditional talk therapy, EMDR engages both the mind and body in the healing process by using bilateral stimulation—such as guided eye movements, tapping, or auditory tones—to activate the brain’s natural ability to reprocess difficult experiences.
At its heart, EMDR therapy works with your nervous system to help you move from survival mode into a place of clarity, empowerment, and peace.
In my practice, I approach EMDR from a whole-person perspective, recognizing that healing happens on multiple levels—emotional, cognitive, physical, and even spiritual.
EMDR is a highly effective therapy for:
Trauma & PTSD
Anxiety & panic attacks
Perinatal & postpartum distress
Life transitions & identity shifts
Phobias & fears
Chronic stress & burnout
Self-worth & confidence struggles
